New ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications
Gefran has acquired two new system certifications for environment and work safety
Sustainability and work safety are the main traits of the new certifications
Provaglio d’Iseo, March 24th, 2023. People’s wellness, their safety on the workplace and environmental safeguard are some of the main guidelines when we chose to build our sustainable development strategy.
Gefran adds two new certifications regarding environmental management and health and work safety management for all Italian plants of the Group, according to this strategy: the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. The acquisition of these new standards for Gefran represents a constant commitment to develop a managing system in regard to environmental and work safety related issues.
Specifically:
ISO 14001:2015 represents a greater corporate responsibility towards the environment and the relative impact of productive systems on it. For Gefran, the environmental sustainability has always been a fundamental and key aspect in the Group’s strategic decisions.
ISO 45001:2018 defines a safety frame for all the People working inside of our plants, preventing work-related risks and protecting the well-being of our employees. For Gefran, the main goal is to create safe working environments, supporting continuous improvement processes.
The new standards stem organically from a managing system which has already been certified for years according to the ISO 9001:2015 norm, allowing to improve the Groups competitiveness and reliability towards our clients.
