Gefran takes part to Brescia’s Race for the Cure

Race for the Cure, Komen Italia’s flagship event, is the largest event in Italy and worldwide for the fight against breast tumours. The main event takes place in Rome, at Circus Maximus, under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, and, in addition to the traditional 2 km walk and 5 km run open to all, includes a 10 km route reserved for competitive athletes.

The Race is also held in other Italian cities, including Bari, Bologna, Brescia and Matera. Thanks to this social event, over the past 25 years it has been possible to launch more than 1,500 new research, prevention and support projects for women experiencing breast cancer throughout Italy.
